“A year and a half after I graduated from the infamously progressive Oberlin College, The Washington Post published an article about students protesting the dining hall’s own (quite literally tasteless) interpretations of Banh mi and sushi. Students weren’t upset about the quality of the food, but rather, its political implications. As one junior from Japan explained, “If people not from that heritage take food, modify it, and serve it as ‘authentic,’ it is appropriative.” An average person might consider this line of reasoning to be far-fetched, but this sounds like your typical Oberlin student to me. I identify as a leftist, but let’s be real, this is fucking absurd. Not only is it a stretch to assert bad dining hall sushi is racist, but on a fundamental level, is this really what anyone wants to invest their energy in fighting? It’s the perfect example of so-called “political correctness” run amuck.”
“Mainstream media along with the left wing youtube new channels are making a big deal about Richard Spencer’s speech at the NPI conference last Saturday. I find it hypocritical for them to turn a mild speech made by Mr. Spencer into a declaration of war upon minorities. Black Lives Matter said extremly racial things against white people including promoting and inciting violence upon them. This was acceptable to the left but not to everyone else and come 2017 there will be hell to pay.”
“Davies had the temerity to tell the audience at ICMI ’16 that women benefited from equality but only when it suits their agenda.
Oh dear! Cue shock and horror from the feminists and The Guardian newspaper. (No surprise there!)
Viewed as being “deeply sexist“, his comments were said to have “provoked outrage across the political spectrum“. :
“Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, former footballer Harris, 24, said: ‘We have been branded gang rapists with no evidence whatsoever.
‘We can’t change what happened but people’s lives are being ruined because of this.’
On legal advice they are not permitted to talk about their accuser, but Harris added: ‘We would not want any woman to be arrested and put in prison. Nobody should go through what we’ve been through.'”
“EXCLUSIVE – ‘We’ve been branded rapists with no evidence whatsoever’: Two men cleared of sex attack on married British woman in Dubai reveal their relief as case collapses and they are free to fly home”
“I think we can all agree that Everyday Feminism is a Joke, and No One Should Ever Read It. Not only do they give the worst advice to women and other marginalized people on the whole internet (for example, “networking is entitled white people crap”). Not only do they seem to view women as helpless, hopeless victims. But they’re also racist and sexist as fuck.
Just take a look at this recent article: Think It’s #NotAllMen? These 4 Facts Prove You’re Just Plain Wrong.
(Don’t forget to Like the Banned By Everyday Feminism facebook page, and if you can’t make it through the whole EF article –it’s pretty long — scroll to the bottom of this page for my commentary.)” :
But she never noticed that men all look the same? :
